One Into a Tree on Molly Pitcher Highway
October 2, 2009- Engine and Rescue Squad 15, along with EMS, were dispatched for an auto accident in the 7300 block of Molly Pitcher Highway.  Units arrived to a find a single vehicle accident with one auto off the roadway into a tree.  Crews found no entrapment and EMS attended to the injured while, 15's crew checked the auto for further hazards.  Company 15 returned to service.

One Overturned on the "S" Turns
October 9, 2009- Rescue Squad 15 was dispatched to assist Co. 51 with an auto accident in the area of the "S" turns on Shippensburg Rd in Hopewell Township.  Units arrived to find one auto overturned partially blocking the roadway.  No entrapment was found and Rescue Squad 15 was released by Command 51.  The Rescue Squad returned to service.

MVA at Orrstown Rd and Thornwood Rd
October 10, 2009- At 1240 hrs., Engine and Rescue Squad 15 was dispatched for an auto accident at the intersection of Orrstown Rd and Thornwood Rd.  Rescue Squad 15 arrived to find a two vehicle accident involving a pickup truck and a car.  No entrapment was found but, an additional EMS unit was requested to assist units on the scene.  The crew from WEFR assisted EMS with the injuries, applied absorbent to a fluid spill, and checked for further hazards on both vehicles.  Company 15 then returned to service.

Single Vehicle Accident on Olde Scotland Rd
October 13, 2009- Engine and Rescue Squad 15, along with EMS, were originally dispatched for the 7500 block of Olde Scotland Rd for an auto accident, which is a 15 box.  While in route, units were advised the correct location was going to be the 4200 block, which is a 7 box.  Rescue Squad 15 and Ambulance 4-73 continued into the scene while communications corrected the box.  The Squad arrived to find a single vehicle accident with one into the cornfield.  No entrapment was found and EMS attended to the injured.  The Rescue Squad returned to service.

Vehicle Accident in the Borough
October 19, 2009- Rescue Squad 15 responded on this vehicle accident in the borough of Shippensburg at the intersection of W. Burd St and Seneca Ave.  Units arrived to find no entrapment.  EMS attended to the injured driver and the squad crew took care of a fluid leak along with checking for further hazards.  The Rescue Squad returned to service a short time later.

Two Alarm House Fire in North Newton Twp.
October 21, 2009- Company 15 units responded to assist on this two alarm house fire in North Newtown Township at 85 Worthington Rd.  Initial units arrived with heavy fire showing from a two story, ordinary farmhouse.  When Company 15 units arrived, a defensive attack was already underway.  The crew from 15 assisted with fire extinguishment and overhaul operations.  They returned to service when released by Command 47.

1st Due Smoke in the Basement.
October 22, 2009- At 1545 hrs., A box alarm was sounded for smoke in the basement at 8918 Molly Pitcher Hwy.  Engine and Rescue Squad 15 responded first due and arrived to find a two story, woodframe house with light smoke showing.  The crew from 15 immediately went to work and upon entry found smoke throughout the house.  Crews investigated further and found the origin of the smoke to be a furnace malfunction.  Slight extension to an exterior wall was also found.  It was quickly knocked down and opened up.  Command 15 held the box to Company 15 and Truck 53, for ventilation.  Engine and Rescue Squad 15 returned to service a short time later.

Vehicle Accident on Stonewall Rd
October 23, 2009- Engine and Rescue Squad 15 along with EMS responded on this vehicle accident at the intersection of Stonewall Rd and Jamestown Rd.  Units arrived to find a minor accident and EMS attended to the occupants.  Company 15 returned to service.
