| Tractor Trailer Off The
"I" |

May 1, 2009-
At 1048 hrs., Rescue Squad 15 was dispatched to Interstate
81 southbound at mile marker 30 for a tractor trailer
accident. Units arrived to find a tractor trailer off
the roadway, into the trees. Crews found that the
driver was not injured. The Squad crew checked for
further hazards before returning to service. Squad 15 returned to service at 1121 hrs.

| Rescue Squad Goes To Boro of
Chambersburg on 2nd! |

May 3, 2009-
At 0438 hrs., Rescue Squad 15 was alerted on the 2nd Alarm
for the house fire at 70 N. Fourth St. in the Boro of
Chambersburg. The Squad crew assisted with extensive
overhaul operations. The Rescue Squad cleared the fire
ground at 0609 hrs and then proceeded to transfer to Station
4 until 0759 hrs. They then returned to service!

| Rollover On The
"I" |

May 14, 2009-
At 2105 hrs., Rescue Squad 15 was dispatched to Interstate
81at mile marker 30 for a motor vehicle accident. Units arrived to find a
single vehicle accident involving a pick-up truck, which,
had rolled over multiple times. Crews found no
entrapment and EMS attended to the injuries. The Squad crew checked for
further hazards before returning to service.

| Garage Fire Quickly
Extinguished! |

May 21, 2009-
Engine Company 15 and the Rescue Squad were alerted first
due on the box for a reported garage on fire at 11049 Hurley
Drive. E15-2 arrived and reported light smoke showing
from an attached garage. The crew quickly stretched a
1 3/4" attack line into the garage to find a small fire in
and around a table saw. The fire was quickly knocked
down and Command 15 soon held the box to Company 15 only.
Upon completion of the overhaul and investigation, Company
15 returned to service.

| Overturned Pick-up At The Square |
|
May 22, 2009-
At 0815 hrs., Rescue Squad 15 was dispatched to the boro of
Shippensburg for a motor vehicle accident at King St and
Earl St. Engine Company 52 arrived to find one pick-up
truck overturned into a tree at that location. No
injuries were found and the Rescue Squad was returned to
service.

May 25, 2009-
Members participated in Shippensburg annual Memorial Day
parade by marching as a unit.

| Small Garage Fire! |
|
May 29, 2009-
At 1837 hrs., Engine Company 15 and the Rescue Squad were alerted first
due on the box for a reported garage on fire at 38 Courtland
Circle. While enroute, units on the box were advised
of multiple calls and a working fire. Communications
advised they were going to go ahead and start the working
fire dispatch. Units were switched over and Command 15
was established. Chief 51 arrived on the scene and
advised he had a small fire, out on arrival, with a light
smoke condition. He advised Command 15 to hold 1 and
1. Command 15 held E15-1 and the Truck. Company
15 returned to service shortly thereafter.

| One Overturned at Shippensburg
Rd and Lovers Lane |
|
May 30, 2009-
At 1437 hrs., Rescue Squad 15 was dispatched to Shippensburg
Rd and Lovers Lane, Hopewell Township, for a motor vehicle accident. Engine Company
51 arrived to find an auto overturned into a field with a
utility pole sheared off. Air medical was requested
for a priority 1 patient. Command 51 returned the
Rescue Squad, due to no entrapment. Squad 15 returned
to service.
