scholarship winner was announced during SASHS annual
scholarship and awards ceremony. |

| House Fire in St. Thomas |
| July 14, 2008-
Just before 0100 hrs on
Monday morning, E15-1 was dispatched to fill the 18-13 Box
for a house fire at 2328 Community Center Drive. Units
arrived to find heavy fire showing. E15-1 assisted
with opening up and overhaul. E15-1 returned to
service around 0300 hours. |

| Van Overturned into a Pole |
|
July 14, 2008-
At 0800 hrs, Squad 15 was
dispatched to the area of 37 Middle Spring Rd in Southampton
Twp., Cumberland County for an auto accident with
entrapment. Units from Co. 52 and the Squad A.O.S. to
find a van overturned into a utility pole with no one
trapped. Patient care was handled by EMS. Squad
15 was released by Command 52 and returned to service.

| Motorcycle Accident w/one
flown |
|
July 20, 2008-
At 0220 hrs, Co. 15 along with EMS
were dispatched to Clearfield Rd, in Southampton Twp.,
Franklin County, for a motorcycle accident. Squad 15
arrived to find a single motorcycle involved with one
patient ejected from the bike. Air medical was
requested and patient care began. Squad 15 assisted
EMS with patient care and packaging. One patient was
flown from the scene via Life Lion.

| Auto Fire |
|
July 21, 2008-
Company 15 was sent to 68 Cortland
Circle for an auto on fire. They arrived to find an
SUV with fire in the passenger compartment with no exposure
problems.

| House Fire in the 7-3 Box |
|
July 26, 2008-
Units from Co. 15, along with 7, Sta.
4, Truck 53, E13-2, Co. 17, Tankers from 52, 5, & 8, were
awakened at 0112 hrs on Saturday morning for a report of a
house fire, address unknown on White Church Rd in Greene
Twp. First arriving units reported a two story vacant
farm house with heavy fire throughout at 4026 White Church
Rd. Heavy duty operations were established immediately
because of the stability of the structure. Units
remained on the scene until shortly after 4 a.m. overhauling
and picking up.
